PROJECT: The non-profit association Trinus in the municipality of Aristava (10 km from the town of Kėdainiai and 50 km from Kaunas) has been working with young people from difficult backgrounds for six years. Together with young people, youth workers and teachers, the association organizes various training courses and social consultations for “problem classes” in schools; leisure activities are also planned in the summer months. The Trinus Association is active throughout the country. In Aristava, Trinus has set itself the task of renovating an old school building which is to be used as the “Trinus Troba” youth centre. The work includes the preparation of the gymnasium for a later renovation, the construction of paths, the construction of tables and benches, and the construction of a wheelchair accessible area.
WORK: demolition work, wood work, painting work, landscape maintenance.
