Jena – FreiRaum Jena e.V.

PROJEKT: Mit großem ehrenamtlichen Engagement und Kreativität setzt sich „FreiRaum-Jena e.V.“ dafür ein, einen neuen Ort für beteiligungsoffene Projekte sowie kulturelle, ökologische und sportliche Aktivitäten zu schaffen. Auf dem Gelände des alten Schlachthofs baut der Verein gemeinsam mit der „Freien Bühne Jena“ und „Crossroads Jena“ das Gebäude zu einem soziokulturellen Zentrum um. Das Konzept des Zentrums vereint und fördert urbane Jugendkultur, Theater, Kunst sowie Projekte zu
ökologischer und sozialer Nachhaltigkeit und erreicht damit vielfältige Zielgruppen.

ARBEIT: Betonbau, Trockenbau, Elektro- und Wasserinstallation.

PROJECT: With great volunteer commitment and creativity, „FreiRaum-Jena e.V.“ is committed to creating a new place for participatory projects as well as cultural, ecological and sporting activities. On the site of the old slaughterhouse, the association is converting the building into a socio-cultural center together with the „Freie Bühne Jena“ and „Crossroads Jena“. The concept of the center combines and promotes urban youth culture, theater, art as well as projects on
and social sustainability and thus reaches a wide range of target groups.
