Kaspi I

Projekt: Das „Momavali-Zentrum für Jugendliche und zivile Initiative” wurde 2003 in Kaspi gegründet, einer Stadt mit 20.000 Einwohnern, etwa 50 km von der georgischen Hauptstadt Tbilisi entfernt. Ein Tätigkeits-Schwerpunkt der Organisation ist die Arbeit mit benachteiligten Kindern und Jugendlichen. Dazu organisiert das Zentrum regelmäßig Sport-, Bildungs- und Kulturveranstaltungen. Im Herbst 2015 begann der Umbau eines leerstehenden Gebäudes in eine Tagesstätte für Kinder mit Behinderung. Die Tagesstätte für etwa 20 Kinder ist bereits in Betrieb, doch das Gebäude muss modernisiert, behindertengerecht umgebaut und neue Räume müssen geschaffen werden. Seit 2016 unterstützen die Freiwilligen des Bauordens den Umbau tatkräftig. In diesem Jahr sollen mehrere Räume renoviert werden.

Arbeit: Malerarbeiten, Betonarbeiten, Verlegen von Wasserleitungen, Landschaftsbau.

Project: The organisation Momavali was founded in 2003 in Kaspi, a town of 20 000 inhabitants, about 50 km from the capital Tbilisi. A main focus of the organization is work with disadvantaged children and young people – various sports, educational and cultural events for children and youth are organized regularly. In autumn 2015, the conversion of a vacant building into a day-care centre for children with disabilities started. The centre for about 20 children is already in operation, but the building needs to be modernized and rebuilt in a disabled-friendly way. Also, some new rooms have to be established. Since 2016 the volunteers of the Bauorden support the reconstruction of the centre. In 2018, several rooms in the centre are to be renewed.
