PROJECT: The organisation Momavali was founded in 2003 in Kaspi, a town of 20 000 inhabitants, about 50 km from the capital Tbilisi. A main focus of the organization is work with disadvantaged children and young people – various sports, educational and cultural events for children and youth are organized regularly. In autumn 2015, the conversion of a vacant building into a day-care centre for children with disabilities started. The centre for about 20 children is already in operation, but the building needs to be modernized and rebuilt in a disabled-friendly way. Also, some new rooms have to be established. Since 2016 the volunteers of the Bauorden support the reconstruction of the centre. In 2018, several rooms in the centre are to be renewed.
WORK: Painting work, concrete work, water pipes work, landscaping.
