Projekt: Die NGO „Actio Catholica Patria“ ist eine der ersten Organisationen in Litauen, die seit 1991 aktiv im Bereich der Jugendarbeit tätig sind. Sie bietet soziale Dienstleistungen und ein breites Kulturprogramm für junge Menschen an. Das Hauptziel des Vereins ist es, junge Menschen auf ein selbstständiges Leben vorzubereiten. Die „Actio Catholica Patria“ betreibt ein Freiwilligenzentrum und ein offenes Jugendzentrum, unterstützt junge Menschen, die aus einem Kinderheim ausscheiden, indem sie ihnen Unterkunft und Sozialdienste anbietet, und organisiert sozialpädagogische Schulungen und Seminare. Die NGO ist in ein altes Haus im Zentrum von Kaunas gezogen, das renoviert werden muss. Während des Workcamps in 2018 werden die Freiwilligen des Bauordens einen Keller renovieren, der als Jugendraum dienen soll, und eine kleine Terrasse im Freien bauen.

Arbeit: Umzugsarbeiten, Betonarbeiten, Verputzen, Malerarbeiten, Holzarbeiten.

Project: The NGO „Actio Catholica Patria“  is one of the first organizations in Lithuania that has actively worked in the field of youth affairs since 1991. It offers social and cultural services for young people. The main purpose of the organization is to prepare young persons for an independent life. It runs a volunteer centre and an open youth centre, supports young people who left the institutional care by offering accommodation and social services and provides trainings and seminars for youth workers. The NGO moved to an old house in the centre of Kaunas that has to be renovated. During the work camp in 2018, the volunteers are going to renovate the cellar that is planned to be used as a meeting room for youth and build a small terrace outside.
