PROJECT: “Achor e.V.” is converting a listed building in Märkisch-Wilmersdorf (50 km south of Berlin) into an education and meeting centre. The centre wants to make it possible to deal with Christian values. “Achor e.V.” emerged from the “Grünewaldhaus” association, which was founded in the 1960s to enable young Catholics from the FRG and the GDR to meet. Since 2010, Bauorden has been helping with the renovation work. In 2020, the outer walls will be replastered and the timber framing will be painted.
