PROJECT: The non-profit environmental protection association “Etna” based in Olawa wants to promote sustainable development in Poland and its neighbour countries and preserve the Barycz river valley as a nature reserve. A programme to promote solar technology is also being developed here. The association received an old building in the village Korzeńsko (Lower Silesia, 1,000 inhabitants, approx. 50 km north of Wrocław), which was renovated in the last four years. In the construction camp the volunteers will help to renovate the big hall, heat insulation and renew the roof.
WORK: carpentry and drywall, insulation, installation.
