PROJECT: The children’s home ” Peronnik” in Sammatz (40 km east of Lüneburg) is part of the “Lebens- und Arbeitsgemeinschaft am Michaelshof” (“Living and Working Community at Michaelshof”) with six residential groups and 34 supervised children and teenagers. 70 employees live here with their children. There are also 20-30 volunteers from all over the world who help in the various areas of work (gardening, agriculture, farm shop, dairy, bakery, kitchen, café, childcare). In the last two years, an exhibition house ‘House of Nature’ and a guest house were built with a lot of personal contribution. The guesthouse is a kind of ‘Youth Hostel’ for the volunteers and school classes who can do their agricultural and social internships here. Seminars and exhibitions take place in the ‘House of Nature’. During the construction camps, the interior construction of multi-generation timber-framed houses will take place.
WORK: Interior work, dry construction, carpentry, electrical work, heating and plumbing, flooring and painting.
