PROJECT: In the village of Sanmarghita (near Tirgu Mures) the Dutch foundation “Timulazu” runs an institution for Roma youths, who can go through a two-year support programme after school. Most of the young people have grown up in orphanages. The young people learn a trade and are prepared for working life. “Timulazu” runs a campsite and a petting zoo on the extensive grounds, which are used to finance the facility. During the construction camps guest rooms are finished, the petting zoo is extended and various small jobs are done on the premises.
WORK: Carpentry, plastering and painting, tiling, landscaping.
