PROJECT: The non-profit organization “Bari Mama” (about 12 km away from the capital Yerevan) takes care of babies who have been abandoned due to their poor health, and Orphans with disabilities. In Bari Tnak the mothers have the opportunity to live with their children until they can be reunited with the rest of the family. The organization takes in children as well as their mothers.
“Bari Mama” organizes an annual holiday camp (Bari Amar) where the children who live in the orphanage, have the possibility to camp at Lake Sevan. The holiday camp is a welcome change from everyday life. In the construction camp the volunteers will help to make the camp site accessible for disabled children and build container houses.
WORK: landscaping, bricklaying, tiling, painting work.
