PROJECT: The association “Tu Quoque”, founded in 2013, has set itself the goal of protecting and preserving the traditional landscape of the Cinque Terre National Park on the Mediterranean coast of Italy. In October 2011, flooded fields and vineyards were destroyed and unsuitable for cultivation. Some of the areas were donated to the association in order to restore the traditional dry-stone walls, which delimit the areas and decisively shape the landscape. The building order supports the association in co-operation with experts locally with the rebuilding of the dry walls.
WORK: Landscape conservation, restoration work, construction of dry-stone walls.
