Exciting construction camps are waiting in Hitzacker. In the island town of Hitzacker in the Wendland on the Elbe, an intercultural generation village is being created for 300 residents. The project is sponsored by Hitzacker / Dorf eG. Young and old, families, single parents, single people, locals and immigrants from all over the world want to jointly build a village community in which they can live and support each other. Apartments are being built, a community house with a cafeteria is being set up, and space has been created for commercial purposes. This creates a place of living, working and living together. Ecological, social and grassroots democratic, a model for the peaceful coexistence of cultures and generations in rural areas. The building authority is happy to be here. Carpentry and carpentry work, interior work and earth building belong to the work.
